Sudan police throw teacher in jail for teddy bear named Muhammad



Oh my God. I don't think the Qu'ran is tripping off teddy bears and if it is, too bad. There are people dying in Sudan and we are wasting our time on teddy bears called Muhammad? Ugh, when will the world just tell these nitpicky people to fuck off?

Don't get it twisted. I don't give a crap about this fat English lady teacher. She can go to hell. I just don't want us to keep bowing to the illogic of all this crap. The worldwide response to this kinda stuff should be a big fat NO and a laugh in the face. Believe what you want but do not expect us to happily go along with it because we are trying to have a functioning sensible world, OK?

And it's not even the teacher's fault! It was her students who decided to name the teddy bear Muhammad. But I suppose lashing 40 muslim kids as opposed to one western woman doesn't seem as appealing to those muslim nutcases...

Absolutely. But I guess it is her job as InfidelTeacher to steer them away from things that violate their religion. Oh brother.
I don't think she should have to deal with any interrogation about anything. She should just laugh and stare and yell "Areyouhavinalaugh?!"

The thing is that this kind of Kafkaesque absurd whacko justice exists in order to keep the populace fearful and isolated. So laughing in their face might make help, but you still get the lashes and jail time. They have a horrendous mistrust of foreigners ...

Yeah I was absolutely thinking of your post when I saw this on the news. I am still waiting for a news wire image of "The Teddy In Question". Everybody takes this stuff so seriously.
